The heat-cured acrylic consists of a powder component (polymethyl methacrylate) and a liquid monomer (methyl methacrylate). A catalyst is added to the powder to accelerate curing, while UV-resistant organic pigments are used for uniform coloring. The MMA monomer with 99.99% purity contains cross-linking agents to enhance chemical properties and final strength. After polymerization, the acrylic polymer is chemically stable and non-reactive, ensuring excellent biocompatibility in the oral cavity. Its high mechanical strength prevents plaque accumulation and discoloration over time.
