Mr. Ali Safarzadeh, founder of Beta Dent and one of the pioneers in the production of dental materials in Iran, served as Chairman of the Board of Ideal Company from 1983 to 2003, playing a key role in the development of this industry. After transferring his shares to his business partners, he carried with him a wealth of experience and a fresh vision, assembled his specialized team, and together with his children, established Beta Dent.

In 2003, in the heart of a strategic region bordering three countries, Beta Dent was founded in the industrial zone of the Maku Free Trade Zone. Recognizing the unique potential of this location, the company was established with the goal of market expansion, aiming to take advantage of strategic opportunities and tap into both domestic and international markets.

2003
Beta Dent took its first steps in the dental industry by producing composite and acrylic artificial teeth. These products, manufactured using up-to-date technical knowledge and modern equipment, were launched under three brands in natural sizes and shades. After obtaining an operating license and quality certification from the Medical Equipment Department, Beta Dent entered the marketing and sales phase, securing its position in the market through a focus on quality and innovation.
Commissioning of Artificial Teeth Production Line
2006
In 2010, with the aim of continuous quality improvement and increasing production capacity, the company’s Research & Development (R&D) department was established. Staffed by industry specialists, this department was designed to control and assess product quality, update technical expertise, and conduct scientific research to expand the product portfolio and foster innovation. The R&D team at Beta Dent also explores new solutions for process improvement and works tirelessly to deliver higher-quality and more diverse products, thereby enhancing the company’s standing in the dental industry.

Acrylic polymers and artificial teeth are two fundamental products that complement each other in the fabrication of removable prostheses. By producing acrylic polymers under the brand Acrosan, Beta Dent became one of the few companies worldwide capable of manufacturing both acrylics and artificial teeth. This valuable step, especially for the production of gum dentures, completed and improved the quality of dental materials, meeting the standards and needs of dental technicians in designing and manufacturing removable prostheses. Acrylic polymers and copolymers, available in various grades, have numerous applications in dental and healthcare industries. Beta Dent, with its precise understanding of these needs, has developed and offered a diverse range of products tailored to their specific applications.

2011
Advanced Dental Material Production
With remarkable growth in the knowledge and expertise of its technical team, the company reached a stage where it moved beyond simply meeting current demands to pursuing new horizons for product development. This journey involved a strategic review that led to investment decisions focused on the production of advanced dental materials.
One of the most important achievements on this path was the production and commercialization of a bismuth oxide-based sealer — a strategic product first manufactured in Iran by Beta Dent. After undergoing physical testing, biocompatibility assessments, and clinical evaluations, this product received approval from the Endodontics Department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
This innovation marked a significant step towards national self-sufficiency in the production of root canal treatment materials and earned Beta Dent a respected position in both domestic and international markets.
Entry into Advanced Dental Materials
2017
In 2020, Beta Dent developed a high-precision C-Silicone impression paste with outstanding detail registration and technical features, earning the company the status of a knowledge-based enterprise.
This complex three-component product has broad applications in dental treatments and demonstrates the company’s technical prowess and deep innovation.
The production of this advanced material also created a rare opportunity for export. Subsequently, Beta Dent secured a five-year contract to produce this product under a private label and export it in large volumes to European countries—an impressive achievement that further solidified Beta Dent’s global brand reputation.
Establishment of Silicone Impression Paste Production Line
2019
In 2023, Beta Dent, with a deep understanding of the growing needs of the country’s dental community for advanced and high-quality restorative materials, embarked on a new chapter of innovation and development. This journey involved the production of dental composites and bonding that meet global standards and compete in quality with reputable international brands.
To build trust within the dental community, these products underwent specialized evaluations against leading market brands. The collaboration with the Dental Materials Research Center at the University of Tehran resulted in receiving certification and approval for the products’ high quality and performance at international standards.
Establishment of Dental Restorative Materials Production Line
2023
Beta Dent succeeded in enhancing its quality control level by obtaining the internationally recognized ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for its quality control laboratory. This prestigious standard, considered one of the most authoritative global references for laboratory technical competence, requires advanced infrastructure, precise equipment, and expert personnel.
With this accreditation, Beta Dent’s laboratory became an official accredited partner of the National Standards Organization of Iran and now serves as one of the key executing arms of this national institution, responsible for conducting specialized tests and evaluations in the field of dental materials
